MEET THE CEO

FirstGen Planning was founded by Michael Mann to help, amongst others, first generation entrepreneurs and executives. Prior to founding the company, Michael obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Designation, worked for a California-based Institutional Investment firm, worked for a New York-based Private Equity & Real Estate firm, and consulted with 8 & 9-figure family offices.

After experiencing the lifestyle of the Northeast, the Southwest, and the West Coast, Michael returned to Birmingham, Michigan to be closer to his family. In his free time, Michael spends his time with his teenage daughter Brooklyn, his silver lab Chloe, and volunteers his time to Big Brother Big Sister, YoungLife, Red Cross, and Real Men Wear Pink. Additionally, if time permits, Michael likes golfing, hunting, fishing, boating, breweries, wineries, and new restaraunts.
